Oppo hat mit ihrem „Selfie-Expert“ bei der Einführung der F-Serien-Smartphones mit Recht die Aufmerksamkeit der Welt auf sich gezogen. Diese Serie legt vor allem Wert auf eine herausragende Fototechnologie. Der jüngste Neuzugang zu seiner „Picture-Perfect“-Serie ist das Oppo F5. Der erste Eindruck, der fast sicherlich lặng Auge des Betrachters liegt, ist, wie elegant das Phone aussieht und in der Benutzung wirkt. Dank seiner schlanken Rahmen konnte ein 6.0-Zoll LTPS IPS LCD mit einer Auflösung von 1,080 x 2,160 Pixeln (18:9) in ein Polycarbonat-Gehäuse mit Abmessungen von 156,5 x 76 x 7,5 milimet gepackt werden. In puncto Software nutzt das Oppo F5 das ColorOS 3.2 Betriebssystem, welches auf Android 7.1.1 Nougat basiert. Die Benutzerschnittstelle des ColorOS Betriebsyststems war immer schon immer von Apples iOS inspiriert und es ist fair, wenn man sagt, dass die Bemühungen des Herstellers fürs Auge ansprechend sind. ColorOS 3.2 bringt definitiv gegenüber ColorOS 3.0, dem Standard-Betriebssystem des Oppo F3 Vorgängers, Vorteile. Machen Sie sich aber nicht zu große Hoffnungen, denn dieses Betriebssystem scheint über keinen Apps- Drawer zu verfügen, sodass die installierten Apps direkt am Homescreen abgelegt werden. Wie bei allen chinesischen Smartphone üblich, sind am Oppo F5 viele Social-Networking-Apps, ein Dokument-Editor und Standards-Apps, die für ColorOS entwickelt wurden, vorinstalliert. Die Tasten sind On-Screen-Tasten und können Ihren Vorlieben entsprechend konfiguriert werden. Das Oppo F5 verfügt über zwei SIM-Karten-Slots (Nano-SIM, Dual-Stand-By) und das Netzwerk unterstützt neben dem üblichen GSM und HSPA auch 4G LTE Band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 38, 39, 40 und 41. Der Fingerabdruckleser befindet sich an der Rückseiten und seine Erkennungsgeschwindigkeit ist bemerkenswert, denn es handelt sich um eines der schnellsten und genauesten Modelle. Nun zu den guten Teilen – den Kameras. Obwohl heute die heißesten Trends Dual-Kamera-Lösungen an der Rückseite sind, spielt die Single-16-MP-Kamera des Oppo F5 in der gleichen Liga wie diese Dual-Kamera-Lösungen.
